NAME: Luke fon Fabre

APPEARANCE: The first thing that's noticeable about Luke would be his extravagent looks. He has a perchance for wearing flashy, stylish clothes: he's got baggy black pants and a long white coat with a weird little demon face on the back. He also wears a short black shirt underneath and leaves the coat open except for two buttons at the top so it shows off his (rather impressive; think sixpack) midriff. Strapped across his back is a sword hilt so that he can easily access his weapon (he's left-handed). He's got long red hair that's tinted lighter at the ends, spiky bangs, and green eyes. He's also a bit on the short side--5"6' or so--and somewhat touchy about the subject.

PERSONALITY: Luke's not exactly the nicest person in the world--but that's not entirely his fault. For starters, he's the son of a duke and nephew of the king. He was also kidnapped at the age of ten and, as a result, lost his memories (or so he thinks; the real story behind that is complicated). Because of this, when he was returned to his home, as a safety precaution Luke was banned from ever leaving the manor. Fast forward seven years and you've got a boy who has spent most of his life stuck inside a huge, fancy mansion, having servants waiting on his every little demand and with no real life experience.

Luke is pretty much everything someone WOULDN'T want to be. He's whiny. He's stuck-up. He prefers to sit around and let others do the thinking and the work for him. He also has a short temper, is naive in pretty much every aspect of how the world works--and he likes to be in charge of a situation. While he is very competent with a sword, Luke overestimates his own abilities, especially when there's fighting or thinking to do. He's never been told he's wrong, pretty much, and does NOT like to hear it. Overall, though, Luke is naive. He's lacking any real experience, because nobody has ever let him HAVE any experiences of his own. He's never seen the world before.

None of this makes Luke a bad person, though. His attitude and personality are more the result of the circumstances of his life than anything else. Deep down, he's a good person, and he's got a sense of morality that will guide him when all else fails, and he really is a good friend, even if he has trouble expressing it. He's got the ability (and the will) to change--he just doesn't realize it yet.
